开始读 Propertius 的《哀歌集》（原文名 Elegiae）。
哀歌（elegia，英文 elegy）是一种诗歌体裁，它产生于古希腊，以两行诗为一组，所
以又称双行体（distichon）。 Sextus Propertius （前43～18）是屋大维（奥古斯
都）时代的哀歌诗人（elegist），他创作的哀歌以爱情题材为主，到了后期也出现了神
话和□□题材的作品。
我正在看的这一本《哀歌集：拉丁语汉语对照全译本》（华东师范大学出版社，印刷，王焕生译）应当是国内第一本《哀歌集》的译本。虽然我不通诗歌韵
律，对文学的兴趣也是寥寥，不过这本书毕竟可以当作古典拉丁文的读物来看。尽管有
些浪费，可是国内拉丁文方面的书太少了……
摘抄一段，供诸位试览。这一段是第一章的第一首诗，描写的是诗人对一位叫做
Cynthia 的女子的爱慕之情。

contactum nullis ante cupidinibus.
tum mihi constantis deiecit lumina fastus
et caput impositis pressit Amor pedibus,
donec me docuit castas odisse puellas 5

ferte per extremas gentes et ferte per undas,

看纸质的拉丁文的书感觉上太“奢侈”了，毕竟拉丁文的书太少。
有时我也看一点网电子版的，因为随时可以用babylon等查单词，我词汇太太太少。
